Andrew is an experienced advocate who practices in all areas of commercial litigation, including:
- energy disputes, including contractual, royalty, operator and other energy-related disputes;
- contractual disputes, including misuse of confidential information, alleged breaches of trust and/or fiduciary duty, negligence claims; and intentional torts
- shareholder disputes; and
- commercial arbitration.
Andrew also maintains a labour and employment practice. He routinely acts for employers on wrongful termination cases, breaches of restrictive covenants, human rights complaints and workers’ compensation matters. He also regularly advises on occupational health and safety matters, and has been involved in a number of occupational health and safety investigations and prosecutions.
Andrew has appeared as lead counsel before the Alberta Court of King’s Bench, the Alberta Court of Appeal, and various other administrative tribunals and in commercial arbitrations. Andrew has also appeared before the Courts in British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
