Natalia is an experienced commercial litigation lawyer whose practice focuses on complex commercial matters and securities disputes.

Natalia regularly advises corporations, investment dealers and individuals, including directors and officers, on bet-the-company litigation, as well as sensitive and confidential regulatory investigations and proceedings before the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) and the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO). She is successful in negotiating efficient and effective resolutions for clients while mitigating their litigation risk and protecting their reputations.

Natalia has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal for Ontario. She has also defended clients in the Ontario Court of Justice in criminal prosecutions brought under the Securities Act by the Joint Serious Offences Team (JSOT), established by the OSC.

Natalia has experience in an in-house senior counsel role at a major financial institution providing litigation support to its wealth management businesses and investment bank. In this role, Natalia managed the bank's most complex securities disputes, including class actions, and sensitive internal investigations, as well as worked closely with the business on creative solutions to mitigate risk.
