Justin is an associate in our Commercial Real Estate Group. His practice covers a diverse range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and financing.
Justin works with a large cross section of clients that includes private entrepreneurs, public and private corporations, asset managers, and developers.
Prior to joining BLG as an associate, Justin summered and articled with the firm. As a student, Justin was seconded to the Bank of Montreal.

Acted for George Brown College in the C$232.5 million acquisition of 25 Dockside Drive, Toronto, Ontario.
Acted for InnVest Hotels in its C$410 million purchase of a portfolio of 14 high-quality hotels in Ontario and Nova Scotia and the subsequent sale by InnVest Hotels of 4 of the hotels to Manga Hotel Group.
Acted for InnVest Hotels in its C$86.5 million sale to Manga Hotels of the Ottawa Marriott Hotel.
Acted for Bank of Nova Scotia, in various types of project and structured finance transactions, including syndicated loans and multi-jurisdictional loans for real estate based financing.
Acted for BMO Life Assurance Company in multiple portfolio acquisitions.
Acted for Loblaw Companies Limited in its C$845 million acquisition of Lifemark Health Group, a leading provider of outpatient physiotherapy and other rehabilitation services nationwide.
Acted for various lenders in various types of project and structured finance transactions, including multi-use, condo, shopping centres and other real estate assets.
Acted for K+S Group in the US$3.2 billion sale of its salt business, including the iconic Windsor Salt mine in Windsor, Ontario.
Acted for Bedrock Industries, LP on real property matters associated with its purchase of Stelco Inc.
