Québec provisions on data portability: BLG’s translation of a Commission d’accès à l’information Q&A

On Sept. 5, 2024, the Québec privacy regulator, the Commission d’accès à l’information (CAI), published a French-only Q&A summarizing legal provisions on data portability; no English version is expected. Considering the interest of organizations and individuals throughout Canada for Québec’s privacy legislation, BLG has made available this unofficial translation to facilitate understanding of these provisions.
