In September 2020, Québec’s Committee on Institutions held special consultations and public hearings regarding Bill 64 – An Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information. A number of experts and representatives from public and private organizations gave their feedback on the proposed bill, including Éloïse Gratton, co-leader of BLG’s Privacy and Data Protection practice.
