Austin is a 2024 articling student at BLG's Vancouver office. Austin summered with BLG Vancouver in 2023 and assisted lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups.
Austin is a graduate of McGill's dual-degree common and civil law program. During law school, he worked as a research assistant for two McGill professors and served as President of the McGill Labour and Employment Law Club in 2022-2023. In his third year, Austin completed a for-credit judicial clerkship under the Honourable Thomas M. Davis at the Cour supérieure du Québec. He spent his graduating semester on exchange at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
Austin was specifically drawn to BLG's wide range of practice areas and national presence, and looks forward to working with the firm's expert advocates.
A native of Québec, he is fluent in both English and French.
