Chlöe is a summer student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2024 summer term.
As a law student, Chlöe is the incoming Managing Editor of the McGill Law Journal. In addition to her managerial responsibilities at the Journal, she sits on the Journal’s Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Committee and assists in the Journal’s Indigenous Legal Citations Project. Chlöe also works as a research assistant on a project relating to the right to adequate housing, volunteers as a Junior Caseworker at the Legal Information Clinic at McGill, and sits on the McGill Law Faculty’s Library Advisory Committee as the undergraduate student representative. Chlöe has previously interned in the Strategic Litigation department of the Center for Health, Human Rights and Development in Uganda, and has also worked as a Junior Policy Analyst at Global Affairs Canada.
Chlöe chose to work at BLG after having the opportunity to meet and speak with so many of the firm’s lawyers during the in-firm process. These conversations revealed to her the extent of the firm’s niche practice areas and the many opportunities to explore the law, and discover new legal passions, at the firm.
In Chlöe’s spare time you can find her playing basketball as part of McGill intramurals, trying new restaurants, and going on long city walks.
