Scott is a summer student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2024 summer term. He is focusing on disputes.
As a law student, Scott advocates for federal prisoners as a Student Caseworker with the Queen’s Prison Law Clinic, supports first-year students as an academic tutor, and previously served as a research assistant for a professor at Queen’s Law. Prior to entering law school, Scott worked in Marketing and Communications at a national construction company.
Scott chose to work at BLG after meeting many of the firm’s lawyers during the interview process and being struck by the supportive and collegial culture. He was drawn to BLG because of the firm’s wide range of practice areas, focus on mentorship, and flexible summer program, all of which make for an incredible student experience.
In his spare time, Scott enjoys staying active, reading, and exploring different cafés and restaurants around Toronto. Scott is also an avid traveller, having lived in seven countries before returning to Canada.
