As an articling student, Kent provides support to professions practicing in both litigation and corporate areas of practice.

Kent has assisted on large public infrastructure projects and real estate transactions. He has assisted professionals with legal research and drafting, including writing opinion letters, pleadings, court documents, and contracts. He has worked with clients to manage their Small Claims Court claim and has appeared before deputy judges of the Small Claims Court. He has also helped prepare materials and exhibits for land-use hearings.

Prior to articling, Kent worked as a Trade Policy Officer with Global Affairs Canada. In this role, he worked to advance Canada’s interests during the renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement.
