As a Summer Law Student, Joseph is assisting lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups.
Prior to attending law school, Joseph received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy from the University of Calgary, worked as service staff and as a plumber’s apprentice. In his first year of law school, he took part in both the BLG Trial Competition and the McGilivray Moot, developing foundational oral advocacy skills.
Joseph is interested in BLG because of the dynamic, important, complex problems that “Canada’s Law Firm” is trusted to work on—in addition to the plentitude of genuine, good-natured people at the firm.
In his spare time, Joseph loves to
- Play chess (and lose most of the time)
- Cycle (even in the winter)
- Scramble in the Rockies
- Travel
