Celine's practice focuses on insurance defence and health law, advising clients in a broad range of issues including personal injury, insurance coverage, medical negligence and occupiers' liability matters. Her experience as a litigator includes appearing across all levels of court in Ontario and tribunals such as the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.
Her experience in insurance defends extends across a broad range of matters, including claims against municipalities, police, and insurance companies and their insured in matters relating to complex coverage issues, personal injury, defamation, education and police liability. In her health law practice, Celine handles medical negligence claims, mental health claims and privacy and consent issues. In addition to her litigation experience, Celine has experience in advising clients in relation to complying with privacy obligations and responding to privacy related complaints and requests.
