Michael leads deal teams and acts as a trusted advisor in the energy, technology, and life sciences industries. Whether a startup or large-cap business, Michael develops close and trusting business relationships and is passionate to provide high-value and timely support. Michael is a member of BLG's M&A steering committee and its Medtech steering committee. Michael is a passionate board member and supporter of top 10 impact charity CUPS, based in Calgary, Alberta.

Michael received his law degree from the University of Alberta. Prior to attending law school, Michael obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance) with distinction from the Haskayne School of Business. He has worked in BLG's securities and capital markets group for 15 years.
