Rachel works with firm leaders across all five BLG offices to execute talent strategies related to junior associate experiential development. As part of her work, Rachel manages BLG's disputes junior associates and business associates skills programs, which place special focus on the experiential development of BLG's newest talent. Rachel supports junior associates, encouraging them to embrace practice variety while developing subject-matter expertise.
Prior to joining the BLG Legal Talent team, Rachel developed a wide range of experience, practicing law as both a solicitor and barrister, as in-house counsel and in private practice. Rachel worked on matters before all levels of Court in Alberta, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada.
