Effective April 1, 2025, Grand River Hospital Corporation (GRH) and St. Mary's General Hospital (SMGH), a division of St. Joseph's Health System, completed their strategic merger to form Waterloo Regional Health Network. This merger builds upon over 90 years of collaboration between these hospitals and will provide the Waterloo Region with more efficient and effective care close to home.
