  • K+S Aktiengesellschaft on the US$1.47 billion sale of its Canadian salt assets to Stone Canyon Industries Holdings LLC, Mark Demetree and Partners.
  • John Wood Group PLC, a British multinational energy services company, in the US$67 million sale of its joint venture interest in TransCanada Turbines to joint venture partner TC Energy.
  • Canadian counsel for Cambridge Education Group Limited (headquartered in the U.K.) in its sale CATS Colleges Holdings Limited to a subsidiary of Bright Scholar Education Holdings Limited (NYSE: BEDU), the largest operator of international and bilingual schools in China.
  • Canadian counsel for global Europe-based innovative pharmaceutical companies on patent and trademark issues.
  • Groupe Bastide's acquisition of sleep apnea treatment and diagnostic company Medpro Respiratory Care.
  • Acted for a U.K. offshore vessel company in connection with its C$3 million acquisition of one of Canada's largest ship building companies
  • Represented the vendor Balfour Beatty PLC in the US$1.3 billion sale of its professional services division – Parsons Brickerhoff Group Inc. — to WSP Global Inc.
  • Acted in the sale of a U.K. equipment rental business for C$171 million and in the US$465 million purchase of a distribution and support business operating in South America, West Canada and the U.K.
  • Acted for a Canadian mining company in a C$11.5 million private acquisition of a shareholding interest in a mining company listed on the London AIM market, with gold mining property in Zimbabwe
  • Represented a global investment bank as their Canadian counsel in connection with a C$17.2 billion financing commitment regarding the amalgamation of an electronic data provider and a U.K. international news agency
  • Represented a major Canadian bank which lead a syndicate of underwriters in a short form prospectus offering worth US$38.35 million for an international gold developer
  • Represented a U.K. international education and information business in a C$950 million acquisition of a US-based educational and clinical testing and performance management services company
  • Acted for a publicly-listed U.K. animal genetics company in the US$35.6 million purchase of life sciences business in Québec
