Abigail is a summer student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2024 summer term.

Abigail recently completed her first year at Osgoode Hall Law School. At Osgoode, she volunteered as a caseworker in the Community & Legal Aid Services Program’s Criminal Law Division. She also acted as a 1L Representative for Osgoode’s Mental Health Law Society and as an Ambassador for Osgoode’s Student Recruitment. Prior to law school, Abigail worked as a research assistant at a labour and employment boutique and at the University of Toronto. She was also involved in the development of recreational and educational programs for youth as a course instructor and camp supervisor.

Abigail was attracted to BLG’s breadth of practice and was drawn to the firm because of its opportunities for students to gain invaluable experience in a wide range of practice areas. Each person she met throughout the recruitment process reflected the supportive and encouraging environment that BLG creates for students, reaffirming her decision to work at the firm.

Outside of work, Abigail can be found bullet journaling, baking elaborate desserts, and making music with her family.
