Toronto (July 4, 2024) – Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) is pleased to welcome Diana Weir as Counsel in the Environmental Group in Toronto.
Diana brings a wealth of knowledge in environmental law, offering legal and strategic advice on environmental matters related to Ontario, federal and municipal legislation. Her experience includes advising clients on environmental regulatory compliance, environmental assessments, contaminated sites, and the environmental aspects of transactions.
A seasoned litigator, Diana has a proven track record in defending clients against environmental and regulatory offences and handling appeals of remediation orders before the Ontario Land Tribunal. She also represents clients in contaminated land actions and other environmental litigation matters.

Diana is also a recognized speaker at various legal conferences and seminars on topics such as climate change planning, environmental due diligence, and best practices for preserving legal privilege in corporate transactions.
