Vancouver (November 7, 2022) - Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) partner Craig Chiasson has been elected Vice-Chair of the ICC Canada Arbitration Committee by its members. Craig began his term in October and will continue as Vice-Chair for two years, after which he will become Chair.
Craig has extensive experience commercial and investment treaty arbitration. He has appeared as counsel in ICC, ICSID, SCC, HKIAC, LCIA, SIAC, UNCITRAL, VanIAC (formerly BCICAC) and ad hoc arbitration proceedings and at all levels of court in British Columbia and the Supreme Court of Canada. He also regularly sits as arbitrator.
Craig was recently named the recipient of the Vancouver International Arbitration Centre’s Excellence in Arbitration Award, recognizing his expertise in commercial arbitration and dedication to the development of arbitration practice in Canada and internationally.
