2018 Awards Recognize Excellent Client Care and Quality of Service
Toronto (February 8, 2018) — Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) is pleased to announce that Mark J. Fecenko has received a 2018 Client Choice Award. These recognitions demonstrate the firm’s ongoing commitment to excellence in client service.
Mr. Fecenko, National Leader of BLG’s Information Technology and Health Informatics focus groups, is the exclusive winner in the Healthcare & Life Sciences category in Ontario. A client stated that, “Mark is always available to provide direction and assistance; he is responsive, well respected and extremely knowledgeable.” This is his fourth time being honoured at the Client Choice Awards, in his third category.
Client Choice recognizes the law firms and partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service. The criteria for this recognition focus on an ability to add real value to clients' businesses above and beyond the other players in the market. Uniquely, law firms and partners can only be nominated by corporate counsel.
Clients are asked to rate individual lawyers and law firms on the following client service criteria: quality of legal advice, commercial awareness, industry knowledge, strategic thinking, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, value for money, responsiveness, effective communication, clarity of documentation, sharing of expertise, appropriate staffing, project management, use of technology, loyalty and ethics.
Mr. Fecenko has a comprehensive technology law practice encompassing a breadth of corporate commercial matters. He has extensive experience in providing pragmatic counsel on competitive procurement, outsourcing and technology matters, including in the information technology, biotechnology and life sciences practice sectors. He also has experience acting for clients in the broader public sector, including in the healthcare and electrical utility sectors.
