As an articling student, Jawdat had the opportunity to work directly with staff from different municipalities in the context of land planning disputes and provincial prosecution. He has also had the opportunity to meet health professionals, engineers, and architects in order to assist with the purchase of properties, mergers, and dispute resolution.

Jawdat has appeared before Judges and Masters of the Superior Court of Justice in order to argue express motions. He has also appeared before a Justice of the Peace several times at the Provincial Offences Court to perform prosecutorial functions as an agent of a municipality.

Prior to going to law school, Jawdat worked for the federal government as a senior clerk for the Department of National Defence and as a visa officer for the department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, where he received the Humanitarian Tradition Award for his role in Project Syria.

Jawdat began his legal career as a research representative with LexisNexis Canada in 2015. Since then, he has completed numerous internships and clerkship positions, including an internship with the Ministry of the Attorney General for Ontario and clerkships with the Health Professionals Appeals and Review Board and the Ontario Court of Justice.
