Julian summered with BLG Calgary in 2022. He assisted lawyers across disputes and business groups.
Julian worked with the securities and corporate law groups on public and private offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and asset/share purchase transactions.
During law school, Julian made the dean’s honour list twice and won the D.A. Thompson Q.C. Prize in Law for his essay on the insufficiency of Canada’s intellectual property regime in protecting Indigenous communities.
Julian holds a BA Honours degree in Political Studies and previously worked as a professional drummer. As a grant writer, he helps Canadian artists secure funding for music projects. During his undergraduate years, Julian owned a niche marketing business serving retail and real estate clients in Manitoba.
