Jean-Charles practices within our Construction group. He has a particular interest in issues related to surety law, construction law, and the professional liability of engineers.

As such, Jean-Charles advises and represents leading real estate developers, general contractors, and consulting engineering firms through complex mandates. His expertise extends to legal hypothecs, construction defects, and contractors' claims for additional work and impact costs.

He also assists surety companies in all aspects of their operations, including handling claims under performance bonds and labour and material payment bonds.

Jean-Charles is known not only for offering legal advice but also for approaching each mandate strategically, aiming to best assist his clients with their own distinctive needs. A proactive and invested listener, he makes sure to understand each client’s operations and objectives before tailoring innovative solutions to their ambitions. Whether in providing advice on large-scale construction projects or helping to overcome regulatory hurdles, he strives to identify creative ways to mitigate risks and promote the long-term success of his clients' projects.

Jean-Charles also participates in preparing litigation files, and pleads before all judicial courts in Québec.
