Katrina is developing a broad litigation practice, focusing on municipal liability, insurance defence, land use planning, and administrative matters.

She has experience appearing before various boards and tribunals.

As a law student, Katrina worked at the Human Rights Legal Support Centre, where she advocated for individuals who have experienced discrimination. She received the Eric and Edna Lisus Social Justice Award for her commitment to community legal aid work. She also received the Harley D. Hallett Renewable Entrance Scholarship and Koskie Minsky Prize in Insurance Law.

Katrina summered and articled with BLG before returning as an associate. During her articles, Katrina was seconded to the Electrical Safety Authority. Prior to joining BLG, Katrina served at the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto and was involved in a pasta-producing start-up business.
