With 10 years of experience in labour and employment law, Émilie brings knowledge and talent to the assistance she gives to lawyers and their clients. She provides rigorous and strategic support in managing complex files, both in occupational health and safety and professional injuries, as well as grievance arbitration and collective bargaining.
Her assistance targets the following tasks in particular:
- Research and analysis of applicable legislation, regulations and case law in labour and employment law, and occupational health and safety;
- Preparation of files for conciliation or for the Administrative Labour Tribunal;
- Support to clients in following up their CNESST files and managing their claims;
- Registration of employers with the CNESST;
- Formulating cost share and cost transfer requests.
Before joining BLG’s paraprofessional team, Émilie worked as a practice assistant in our Labour and Employment Group.
