Nick's practice focuses on insolvency and restructuring, with a special focus on proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act. Nick has acted for a variety of clients, including debtor corporations, creditors, financial institutions, court-appointed monitors, receivers, and proposal trustees.
Nick has experience in a diverse range of sectors such as mining, insurance, manufacturing, cannabis, construction, healthcare, energy, hospitality & tourism, and land development.
Nick regularly appears before the Commercial List of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and has also appeared before the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Prior to specializing in insolvency, Nick maintained a broad commercial litigation practice.
