Line is the Regional Manager for the Specialized Business Law Group in Montréal, which includes Real estate law, Tax law, Financial services and Intellectual property. She speaks French, English, Hebrew and Arabic fluently.

Experience

  • Acted on the acquisition of a portfolio of 75 properties in Canada and the United States valued at more than $1.5 billion.
  • Advised Triple M Metal in its joint venture with ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada to create Integrated Metal Recycling Inc.
  • Advised BMO Life Insurance in its acquisition and financing of a 50% undivided co-ownership interest in 11 shopping centre in Québec and Ontario, totalling $200 million.
  • Acted for WH Hospitality in connection with its acquisition and financing of the Hotel PUR in Québec City.
  • Acted for Autocanada in connection with the acquisition of BMW Canbec and BMW Laval.
  • Acted for CiToxLAB Group Inc. in connection with its acquisition of AccelLAB Inc.
  • Assisted Northern Property REIT in its creation of a $3 billion national multi-family REIT through the acquisition of True North Apartment REIT and a $535 million multi-family real estate portfolio managed by Starlight Investments Ltd.
  • Represents both Bell Canada and SNC-LAVALIN O&M SOLUTIONS INC. in the management of Bell Canada’s real estate portfolio.
  • Represents several major financial institutions in negotiating their commercial leases.
  • Acting as external real estate counsel in the province of Québec of McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada Limited.
  • Acted in connection with the establishment of Brick Real Estate Corporation in Québec.
  • Lender counsel to a number of Canadian institutional lenders in respect of commercial, retail and residential construction projects.
  • Acted in connection with the sale of the Hilton Bonaventure Hotel in Montréal.
  • Assisted in the sale of the Auberge des Seigneurs in Saint-Hyacinthe in Québec.
  • Assisted in the sale of the Hotel Tadoussac, in Tadoussac, in Québec.
  • Acted in connection with the acquisition of a portfolio of 15 buildings in Montréal.
  • Assisted in the sale of the La Cité multi-residential complex in Montréal for over $232 million.
