Strong communities are the cornerstone of healthy communities, successful businesses and a prosperous country. Throughout the firm’s history, members of BLG have consistently given back through the contribution of skills, experience, time and charitable contributions. We align our community involvement with local community needs and support causes that our Firm members are passionate about.

Each year we support over 200 different non-profit organizations, ranging from local charities and grassroots community initiatives to international charitable missions. We support organizations dedicated to:

BLG Reads to Kids


Started in 2003, BLG Reads to Kids was launched to support literacy for young children across the country, with a focus on marginalized communities. BLG volunteers have read with hundreds of children junior kindergarten to grade 3. Our Reads to Kids committees also organize book drives and donations to our partner schools and organizations.

United Way Centraide


Our annual campaign brings together our offices to raise important funds for their local United Way chapters. Our office committees run fundraising activities to engage our Firm members and raise awareness of local community needs. Each year we raise over half a million dollars for this important cause.
