Calgary (July 26, 2024) – Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) is contributing to immediate and ongoing relief efforts amidst the fast-moving wildfires in Jasper, Alberta, and the surrounding areas.
BLG has a strong presence in Alberta, and to show our support for our neighbours in the community, BLG will be matching individual firm members' donation up to $500, made to the Canadian Red Cross in support of the 2024 Alberta Wildfires Appeal.

"As Canada's Law Firm, our donation to the Canadian Red Cross is our way of supporting our friends, family, and community members in recovering the cherished communities and infrastructure of Jasper.”

Donations to the Canadian Red Cross will assist those affected by the wildfires in Jasper and other regions of Alberta, providing emergency and ongoing relief, financial aid, evacuee support, and community recovery efforts. Additionally, funds will help enhance community preparedness and risk reduction for future disasters in Alberta.
