New senior counsel brings two decades of experience in strategic tax structuring
Calgary (February 3, 2020) — Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) welcomes Jennifer Hanna who joined our Tax Group as senior counsel today. Jennifer’s practice focuses on strategic tax structuring for clients undergoing international expansions, acquisitions, sales, and post-acquisition group integrations and rationalization. Jennifer is based in BLG’s Calgary office.

Prior to joining BLG, Jennifer worked as an international tax services lead partner for the oil and gas services niche of her previous firm, and advised clients in a wide variety of industries, including oil and gas exploration and production, mining, infrastructure, real estate and technology. Jennifer is a frequent writer on Canadian international tax matters and a recurring speaker at conferences such as the Canadian Petroleum Tax Society and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
