He often acts for national and international corporations, as well as financial institutions, dealers and brokers (registrants).
He has significant experience in intellectual property litigation, primarily with respect to trade-marks, copy-rights and trade secrets.
Daniel also acts for a variety of indigenous clients, asserting claims related to ancestral rights, land rights, and business disputes.
Daniel appears regularly before the Court of Appeal of Québec, the Superior Court of Québec, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Federal Court.
Daniel sits on BLG’s National Conflict Committee and its Pro Bono Committee.
