Natalia Rodriguez is a member of the Commercial Litigation Group in the Ottawa office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. She also practises in the areas of public law litigation and appellate advocacy.
Natalia was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2011. Prior to joining BLG, Natalia clerked for the judges of the Ontario Court of Appeal and for Justice LeBel at the Supreme Court of Canada. During law school at Queen’s University, Natalia was a Senior Associate Editor of the Queen’s Law Journal, took part in various mooting activities and was a research assistant for several professors. In 2010, she was awarded the Silver Medal in Law (Second Highest Standing), the Cassels, Brock and Blackwell LLP Centennial Award in Practice Skills, the David Sabbath Prize in Advanced Issues in Contract Law (Highest Standing), and the David Sabbath Prize in Appellate Advocacy (Highest Standing), by Queen's University Law School.
Prior to embarking on her legal studies, Natalia was an elementary and high school teacher in Ottawa and Montréal.
She is fluently bilingual in Spanish and English and is conversant in French.
