Evita Ferreira  

Evita Ferreira is an Associate in the Toronto office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and a member of the Banking and Financial Services Group.

Evita's practice focuses on:

• Lending: Representing lenders and borrowers in the establishment and maintenance of secured and unsecured term and operating credit facilities.
• Securitization: Representing financial institutions and corporations in structured finance transactions and asset securitizations.
• Bankruptcy & Insolvency / Restructuring: Advising trustees, monitors, chief restructuring officers, receivers, debtors and creditors with respect to various issues arising in connection with bankruptcy and insolvency matters and reorganizations, including issues arising under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA), the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA), and the Winding-Up and Restructuring Act (WURA).

Evita was both a summer student and an articling student at BLG before joining the Firm as an associate in 2016. During her articles, she was seconded to the Royal Bank of Canada in the Wealth Management Group.

Evita is fluent in French.
