Julie Peacock is a law clerk in the Toronto office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, and is a member of the Commercial Litigation Group. She is engaged in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters, including commercial fraud, injunctions such as
Anton Piller orders (civil search orders), anti-piracy and technology litigation, enforcement of court orders and judgments, and arbitration matters. Julie assists on all stages of litigation including document collection, discovery, mediation, arbitration and trial. She manages large document intensive files, and deals with various courts including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Court of Canada.
Julie also has experience in anti-counterfeiting investigation and enforcement matters in intellectual property proceedings before the Federal Court of Canada. She also has experience with copyright, trademark and domain name disputes before arbitrators and administrative tribunals. As well, Julie deals with domain name registrations, transfers and dispute resolution procedures.
