Christine represents both lenders and corporate borrowers in domestic, cross-border and international financing transactions, including bi-lateral and syndicated loans, acquisition financing, project financing, asset-based lending and real estate and condominium financing transactions.

Christine also acts for creditors, debtors, court officers and other stakeholders in restructuring and insolvency matters.

  • Counsel to Nutrasource Diagnostics Inc. in connection with its acquisition of the business and assets of Diteba Research Laboratories
  • Counsel to KPMG Inc. in its capacity as court appointed liquidator of the business in Canada of Maple Bank GmbH and its assets
  • Counsel to Powerstream Inc. in connection with the private placement offering of $150 million unsecured debentures
  • Counsel to a syndicate of lenders providing construction financing in the amount of $130 million in connection with a condo development in Toronto
  • Counsel to a syndicate of Canadian and US lenders in connection with $750 million senior secured credit facilities, including taking security over assets located in the United States, Europe and Mexico
  • Counsel to a UK clearing bank on updating its precedent loan and security documents
  • Counsel to the secured creditor in connection with the restructuring of credit facilities following the cross-border insolvency of a borrower in the food and hospitality sector
