Eric Little is a senior associate in the Corporate Commercial Group in our Vancouver office. His practice covers
all aspects of corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on franchising, licensing and distribution
and mergers and acquisitions. Eric advises clients across a variety of industries with respect to corporate
and commercial matters, including corporate organization and governance, purchase and sale transactions
and drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
In the franchise sector, Eric's practice covers all aspects of Canadian franchise law, including the
preparation of franchise agreements and franchise disclosure documents, acquisitions and dispositions
of franchise systems and single unit franchises, managing relationships with franchisees and enforcing
system compliance. Eric works with franchisors of all sizes, from start-ups to national and international
companies, and has experience in a broad range of franchise industries, including quick service restaurants,
hotels and hospitality, automotive sales and service, health care, early childhood education and commercial
services. Eric frequently writes and speaks about issues in franchise law.
Eric also assists clients in the food and beverage industry with a variety of regulatory matters,
including liquor licensing and distribution and commercial health and safety issues.
Prior to articling at BLG, Eric was a law clerk to six justices of the British Columbia Supreme Court.
