Rajnoop Kaur is an associate in BLG's Commercial Real Estate Group and practices out of our Ottawa office. Rajnoop primarily acts for landlords, tenants, purchasers, vendors, borrowers and lenders in the negotiation of commercial real estate and commercial leasing projects.
Rajnoop was called to the All India Bar in 2014 and her international legal experience includes a clerkship with a Judge at the Court of Appeal in India and legal internships with the Additional Solicitor General of India as well as lawyers at the Supreme Court of India, Courts of Appeal and the Juvenile Court. She has also worked as a law student at a full service national law firm and a national women's organization in India.
Rajnoop was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016 and prior to joining BLG, she was an associate lawyer at a boutique condominium law firm where she advised condominium corporations and owners on their legal rights and responsibilities with respect to all areas of condominium law, litigation and governance. Her other practice focus areas included commercial real estate law, expropriation law, construction law and labour & employment law. She has represented condominium clients before a variety of courts and administrative tribunals, including the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Small Claims Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Divisional Court. She also frequently acted as a chairperson for condominium meetings.
She is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
