  • In commercial transactions, Valérie coordinates the aspects relating to employees, which includes conducting research in due diligence and reviewing purchase agreements.
  • Valérie regularly provides training to clients from various business segments and their employees on a gamut of topics dealing with labour relations.

  • Ms. Dufour has made presentations to the firm's lunchtime training sessions on various current issues in Labour and Employment Law, including the duty of reasonable accommodation, constructive dismissal, non-competition and non-solicitation clauses, preparing for the termination of employment, psychological harassment in the workplace, the Internet and managing emails, the LRB's new rules of evidence and procedure, the CSST's concept of "sudden and unforeseen event", salary equity and the 2001 deadline.
