On June 16, 2014, the OSC refused Mr. Black’s motion to stay his OSC proceedings by holding that the proceedings in Canada were simply held in abeyance until the U.S. criminal trial was disposed of for the sake of efficiency. The abeyance was not intended to be indefinite. The hearing has been scheduled for October 3, 2014.
