Toronto (January 12, 2015) — Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) announced today the arrival of Éloïse Gratton as a partner in the Business and Corporate Commercial Group. Ms. Gratton’s practice focuses on privacy and IT law and will be part of the firm’s Privacy and Access to Information team.

Ms. Gratton provides advice to private sector corporations in various industries ranging from financial services, pharmaceutical, retail, technology to telecommunications. She will provide our clients with strategic advice on issues affecting the protection of privacy of their new projects, products, practices and technologies, matters of compliance, both nationally and internationally, and assist them in managing crises and in conducting their business transactions.

Ms. Gratton is a graduate of the University of Montréal where she obtained her LLB in 1997 and her LLM in IT Law in 2002.  She also has an LLD from Université de Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) in Privacy Law and the University of Montréal, which she obtained in 2012.  Ms. Gratton was called to the Québec bar in 1998.
