Only Canadian lawyer recognized as a BTI Client Service Super All-Star

Toronto (February 25, 2013) — Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) is pleased to announce two of its partners have received international recognition for the delivery of outstanding client service by BTI Consulting Group. The lawyers recognized are:

  • Christopher Bredt, who was one of this year’s six, and only Canadian, BTI Client Service Super All-Star – recognizing lawyers who received multiple nominations from clients for their superior client service delivery.
  • Rob Russell, who was named a BTI Client Service MVP – recognizing lawyers who have been honoured for more than one year in a row.

“The inclusion of Christopher and Rob in this exclusive group of lawyers goes hand-in-hand with our Firm’s commitment to providing outstanding client service,” said Sean Weir, BLG’s national managing partner. “We are honoured to be recognized by our clients for delivering on this promise.”

Christopher Bredt is a partner in BLG’s Toronto office. He practises civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial disputes, anti-piracy actions, corporate restructurings, directors’ and officers’ duties and liabilities, shareholder oppression and other corporate disputes, class actions, constitutional and administrative law issues.

Rob Russell is the national leader of the Firm’s Competition and Marketing Law Group. He has acted on significant mergers, cartel and abuse matters under the Canadian Competition Act for some of the largest corporations in Canada and abroad. He has appeared before the Canadian Competition Tribunal and all levels of appellate courts on numerous occasions, acting on behalf of the Canadian Competition Commissioner as well as private sector clients.

To determine the 2013 BTI Client Service All-Stars, BTI Consulting gathered feedback from more than 240 corporate counsel from large and Fortune 1000 companies. BTI ranked 307 individual attorneys from 194 law firms in this year’s guide.
