Andrew specializes in patent procurement in chemical and mechanical technologies, including oil & gas (upstream and downstream, including oil sands extraction), mining, carbon capture and sequestration, chemistry, material science, metallurgy, clean-tech, and medical devices. He also provides opinions on patentability, scope of protection, validity, and infringement, and advises clients on global patent portfolio management. Moreover, Andrew has an extensive industrial design practice assisting clients with protecting the aesthetic features of their products.
