  • She advises and represents employers on issues of labour relations for unionised workers and in the negotiation of collective agreements.
  • She informs employers on matters of labour and employment law on an ongoing basis.
  • She regularly reviews company policies and the drafting of employment agreements.
  • She advises and represents both individuals and employers on issues relating to the immigration of business people, especially with respect to residents and work permit requirements.
  • She represented an influential association of employers before a parliamentary commission holding consultations on pay equity.

Publications & Presentations

  • Katherine lectures, provides onsite training to companies and publishes articles on various subjects related to labour law, the use of social media, psychological harassment, occupational health and safety, immigration law, administrative law and the law of fraud.
  • She has been an invited guest-speaker at events of the Grandes conférences Les Affaires, the Investment Industry Regulatory Organisation of Canada, Yvon Blais Publishing (Thomson Reuters), as well as the Conseil québécois du commerce de détail and several chambers of commerce and regional business associations.
