BLG Appoints Client Innovation Partner

John Godber to work closely with clients on innovative solutions and services

Toronto (February 21, 2018) — Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) is pleased to announce that John Godber has been appointed as the Firm’s Client Innovation Partner. In this new role, Mr. Godber will work with BLG clients and relationship partners to create innovative solutions and services that deliver greater value and efficiency. He is also an Innovation Committee member and will act as a liaison to partners throughout the Firm on innovation initiatives and achievements.

"We are thrilled to have John take on this role as our Innovation Team continues to expand," says Rob Morris, Chief Operating Officer at BLG. "His skillset and specialized knowledge will boost our innovation offerings as we continue to deliver on the evolving needs of our clients."

Mr. Godber is a member of BLG's Partnership Board and was previously National Leader of the Business and Corporate Commercial Group. John is the client relationship partner for BLG Adroit, which is the Firm's project management and legal process improvement program. He is focused on understanding his clients’ businesses and providing them with outstanding service, value and efficiency.

In the coming months, BLG will be announcing a number of new initiatives focusing on expanding the value of the Firm’s innovation strategy for clients.
