Montréal Summer Program

Work with us for one or two summers prior to articling or work part-time during law school. By sampling several practice areas and assisting our lawyers, you’ll lay the foundation for an exemplary articling experience.

Our summer program involves no formal rotations. This means you can take on work in a variety of practice areas and get to know and learn from many lawyers. We consider opportunities for client secondments on a case-by-case basis.

You’ll be assigned a mentor who will answer all your questions about the Firm, the work and the legal profession.

Your summer begins with two weeks of “bootcamp” covering all aspects of legal research and drafting of research memoranda. You’ll then attend weekly training sessions to introduce all our fields of practice and community outreach programs.

You’ll dive right into the work: not just researching and drafting, but attending meetings, conducting due diligence and drafting contracts and pleadings. You’ll also be invited to meetings, discoveries and court appearances.
