Executive Summary

Stephanie Young is a senior associate in the Toronto office of BLG, practicing labour and employment, human rights and education law.  She has appeared as employer and/or defence counsel before the Small Claims Court, the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and at labour arbitrations.

Stephanie obtained her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2012, and was a summer student and articling student at BLG before joining the Firm as an associate in 2013.

Representative Work

Stephanie advises public and private sector employers on all aspects of labour and employment law, including employment standards, policies and contracts, health and safety, accessibility legislation, employee terminations and severance packages, employee disciplinary issues, employee absenteeism, wrongful dismissal claims, human rights issues and labour relations matters.
