Tamara practises in the areas of corporate commercial law, wills and estate planning, trusts and wealth management. She assists clients with business succession planning and wills and estates planning, as well as the implementation of the corporate and commercial aspects of such planning, and advises clients on matters related to the administration of an estate, including applications for grants of probate and grants of administration.
She also has experience in a variety of corporate transactions, including corporate reorganizations and share and asset purchase and sale transactions. As well, she advises not-for-profit organizations and charities regarding corporate and governance issues. Tamara has completed the Part I and Part II Group Studies of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ In-Depth Tax Course.
Before joining BLG as an articling student, Tamara completed the National Committee on Accreditation requirements at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2007.
