Jacky specializes in conducting trademark oppositions and non-use cancellation proceedings in Canada. He also has particular experience in advising clients with their branding strategy and managing their trademark portfolios. He is adept at providing targeted strategic advice to brand owners of various sizes ranging from multinational corporations to individually-owned businesses based on their specific business needs.

Prior to joining BLG, Jacky practised at a national intellectual property firm and a boutique trademark firm in Ottawa.

Jacky is fluent in Cantonese and conversant in Mandarin. During his legal studies, Jacky participated in an exchange program in Hong Kong, where he worked as an intern in the Intellectual Property Department of the Government of Hong Kong.
