Betty Torsky is a senior paralegal in the Financial Services Department of our Vancouver office. Betty has been with the Firm since 1999. She assists the Firm’s lawyers and clients in various insolvency-related matters including foreclosures, creditors’ remedies and debt recoveries, bankruptcies and receiverships. She also assists with due diligence research and analysis, as well as the drafting of a broad range of pleadings, agreements and security documentation.
Betty’s scope of knowledge includes British Columbia Supreme Court procedures and procedures pursuant to the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. She also has background knowledge of both commercial and residential lending and real estate transactions.
