She assists the Firm's lawyers with:

      • brokerage business: investment, exempt market and mutual fund dealers (registration and ongoing compliance);
      • corporate financing (public and private);
      • preparation of continuous disclosure documents (reporting issuers and investment funds);
      • take-over bids for companies and trusts;
      • stock exchange listings and related matters;
      • corporate secretariat for public enterprises;
      • mergers & acquisitions (public and private companies);
      • corporate reorganizations; and
      • general business law.

Representative Work

  • ​Acted for ProMetic Life Sciences Inc., a Toronto Stock Exchange listed issuer, in connection with the closing of a bought deal public offering of 19,400,000 common shares, conducted through a syndicate of underwriters, for aggregate gross proceeds of $60,140,000 and the concurrent private placement entered into with Structured Alpha LP, for the subscription of 1,921,776 common shares.
