Geneviève Paradis has worked as a Paralegal in Civil and Commercial litigation for almost twenty years. She has extensive experience in real estate, commercial disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency law, hypothecary recourses and product liability, amongst others. She assists the attorneys in the drafting of procedures, carries out the documentary review to prepare the evidence, its management, as well as its organization. She also conducts searches in various legal registries and databases.
Geneviève has also practiced for many years within an international aerospace company. She was involved in the organization and the coordination of complex litigation files, mostly in Canada and the United States, involving both clients and suppliers, as well as aircraft accidents. She assisted with fact-based investigations to compile documentation from various sources and databases. She was responsible for issuing the Litigation Holds in order to preserve the information and to ensure that the collection of documents was conducted in accordance with the applicable rules of electronic discovery ("E-Discovery"). Her role was also to maintain the coordination of the internal collaborators worldwide, the external attorneys, the insurers and the experts
